  • Saadi Tombs

    Located north of the kasbah, against the southern wall of the Moulay El-Jazid mosque, the Saadian tombs of Marrakech date from the time of Sultan Ahmad al-Mansur.

    The tombs were rediscovered in 1917 and restored by the Fine Arts Services. From Riad Tahani it will take 15 minutes to arrive.

    The Ben Youssef Madrasa is a madrasa attached to the Ben Youssef Mosque in Marrakesh, Morocco. It houses some of the most beautiful examples of Moroccan art and architecture. The madrasa, where more than 800 students memorised the Qur'an, was founded by Sultan Abou al Hasan in the 14th century.

  • Palais El Badi

    The El Badi Palace in Marrakech was built in the late 16th century by the Saadi Sultan Ahmed al-Mansur to celebrate his victory over the Portuguese army in 1578 in the battle known as the Battle of the Three Kings. According to the chroniclers of the time, it was the wonder of the Muslim world.

  • Jardins de la Menara

    The Menara Gardens are located west of Marrakech, Morocco, 15 minutes from Riad Tahani, at the gates of the Atlas Mountains.

    They were built in the 12th century by the Almohad caliph Abd al-Mu'minn, and the name Menara derives from the small green pyramid on the roof of the pavilion.

    La Menara is close to our riad in Marrakech, around 20 minutes by car.
